Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

I extend a warm welcome to all children, parents, carers, grandparents and community members.

Warrami. Our school is on the land of the Cammeraygal. It is a place of community, caring for our land and learning.

Cammeray Public School is truly a special place. We prioritise and value the education and well-being of our children. Your child is at the centre of all we do. Our core business is teaching and learning in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

What will you see and hear when you move around our school?

Our grounds create a wonderful environment for your children to both learn and play. Our frog pond, our gardens, our newly constructed playground, funded by our proactive P&C, our heritage buildings and our new classrooms currently being built.

What truly makes Cammeray Public School unique is our people. We have an actively involved community of parents, grandparents, and community members. When you move around our school, you observe engaged students alongside dedicated and skilled teachers. Our specialist classroom teachers deliver programs and opportunities in music, science, and visual arts, all aimed at nurturing your child's potential.

Finally, and most importantly, we value and care for the children who come to our school. We listen to their voices. They tell us they enjoy coming to school, engaging in their learning, and developing the social skills necessary for their future roles in society.
